Hello and welcome to Kookaroo!

We are a family run business made up of myself, Karlie, my husband John and our four children (and chief product testers) Angus, Ethan, Bodhi and Peyton. We are based on the Gold Coast, Australia one of the most beautiful places to live - well we think so anyway.

Kookaroo was born two years ago whilst searching for educational toys to support early learning development. We found it quite difficult to find beautiful, non toxic, natural wooden products at an affordable price.  So that’s when we decided to design and create our own.

Before children, I was working as a full time primary school teacher, now I get to be a full time stay home mother and help with our growing business.

Our goal is to create a successful line of children's learning resources which we have designed based on my background knowledge of teaching but also on the needs of our children. We are extremely passionate about our products and want to create items that will last a lifetime.
